For eons, the spirits called the Kami have watched over the people of Zekvar. Their avatars have kept the civil peace and have provided the Zekvari people with a kind of magic based technology.

Then one night you have a nightmare and in it the Kami use a strange ceremony to give you the power to do magic. The next morning you awaken to a world that has fallen into chaos. The avatars and the magic of the Kami have disappeared. Only you and your magic remain.

What will happen to Zekvar without the magic that has sustained it since time immemorial? The world is full of rival nations and their own gods just waiting to pounce on any sign of weakness.

How will you use your new powers? Will you help Zekvar or will you help yourself?
