For eons, the spirits called the Kemi have watched over the people of Zekvar. Their avatars have kept the civil peace and have provided the Zekvari people with a kind of magic based technology.

Then one night you have a nightmare and in it the Kemi use a strange ceremony to make you one of them. The next morning you awaken to a world that has fallen into chaos. The avatars and the magic of the Kemi have disappeared. On the other hand, you yourself can suddenly do magic.

How will you use your new powers? Will you help Zekvar or will you help yourself? What will happen to Zekvar without the magic that has sustained it since time immemorial? The world is full of rival nations just waiting to pounce on any sign of weakness.

• Become a leader, a tyrant, a wise advisor, a spy, or keep to the shadows and watch history unfold.
